Tracking your shipments

Located within the Shipments Overview page, Convoy provides real-time visibility to where your truck is on a map.

To track your shipment:

  1. Locate the shipment of interest by searching by shipment Reference number, PO number, or short ID “XYZ-123” in the search bar in the top left corner of the page. Click on that shipment’s row.

  2. The Shipment Overview page will display shipment information including the rate, tracking numbers, pickup/delivery locations and appointments, equipment type and cargo details, etc.

  3. If any shipment details need to be changed, select Request Changes at the top of the page, to the left of the map or email shipperdirectsupport@convoy.com.

  4. To cancel a shipment, click into the three dots menu and select Cancel, or email shipperdirectsupport@convoy.com. Shipments cancelled within 4 hours of pickup will be eligible for a TONU (Truck Order Not Used) charge.

  5. The Tracking tab is where you can track the lifecycle of your shipment through Convoy’s real-time GPS tracking and get visibility into driver timestamps for pickup and delivery through Convoy’s interactive tracking map. For descriptions of our various Shipment Statuses, see here.

    1. To share a shipment status card, a customer-friendly view of your freight updated in real time, click Share to copy the shareable URL to your clipboard.

Convoy TMS Users: 
Convoy TMS users will have the same visibility listed above if the load is tendered to Convoy. If the load is tendered to another carrier in your network, you will not be able to see real time updates as that carrier is not using the Convoy app.
